I would like to put in some better fog lights than the factory installed ones....are there bulbs that you can just replace the exiting ones with? The factory ones are to yellow and to soft, I would like to have a white brighter bulb in the fog light....can anyone give me so ideas of what will do?

Try blinglights. I know they carry a lot of aftermarket lights for the Prius. Around $80, I think.

The $80 is for a foglight kit: the housing, bulb, switch, wiring harness, etc., but not the Prius covers The OP is looking for bulbs only.

By the way, there is a Yaris foglight kit (housing, bulbs, harness, switch) that fits the 2010 Prius perfectly, and sells for less than $30 on Ebay. As with the Blings, the covers are not included, but can be purchased from a Toyota OEM parts retailer such as parts.com.

For complete details, see the thread entitled "Fog lights: Install [Retrofit] fog lights on 2010 Prius?".

Just changing a foglight bulb is easy. The Owners Manual shows how to do it, and how to change other bulbs as well (headlights, tail lights, turn signal lights, etc.).

But if you want a brighter white bulb, you need a new kit, right? And not just the bulb?

Jim

I've been thinking of doing what Jim suggested above b/c my PRI did not come with OEM fogs. So I wanted to add them to the car. If I dont have them OEM in place, is that something hard to retrofit into the car (when there was no lights there to begin with)?

In other words, do I just buy the kit from Blinglights, and the OEM covers from Toyota and install??
