Default Need headrest solution for booster seat

We just got a booster seat for our youngest who's just turned four. It has built in latches that snap directly into the rear seat hooks. The seat works great. Until, that is, my son falls asleep.

Since there's no side head restraints as in the child seat, he can't stay up straight. I'm afraid his neck will suffer. Adults also have this issue on airplanes, and that's why we see a proliferation of those neck supports sold at airport boutiques.

I'm currently using two small pillows especially made for children in car seats to help keep his head straight a little bit. But they only work marginally without a seat.

Is there some kind of headrest that can provide neck support, especially for shorter children in booster seats? I'm thinking of something to replace the existing headrest that extends downward (instead of up) and has two sides wherein one's head can be held in place.

The only thing that comes to mind is a neck pillow I saw at WalMart last week. It's a donut shape that goes around one's neck. One side is open. Made for adults but hope it works for the little one.

buy a HANS racing device for your kid. That would be pimp. Joking aside, I havent seen any pillow systems out there that works that well. Maybe switch to a different seat with a built in head rest on each side of the kids face like the Eddie Bauer seats.

Borrow a neighbor's kid...my daughter rests her head on her older brothers' shoulders!
Many of today's boosters offer optional backs with head-rests...you might look into something like that if you're worried about it.

Too bad we didn't get one of the booster seats with a built-in back and headrest that can later be converted into a backless seat. But that'll only delay this problem for a little while.

Anyhow, perhaps something like this could work...

I don't know about the "Rurpy"...looks like it would put pressure directly on the trachea when the kid's head drops forward.
