I had the 17" Scion wheels with pirelli P7000 installed and they look great.
Does anyone know if I need to get the computer adjusted for these?
They are 17" Toyota OEM alloy wheels was taken off a 2005 Toyota Scion TC with Z-rated 215/40R17 Pirelli P7000 Super Sports .

Also, I was told by the tire guy that installed them I may loose 1 or 2 mpg only, is that correct?
Thanks!

another thing to consider is that the Classic used LRR tires. People who have changed reported significant mileage drops.

V8cobra, which tires did you go with on your 17" wheels? Do you have the Scion TC's??

Also, please tell us your experiences comparing the stock wheels and tires to your 17". Did your handling improve drastically?? How about highway stability? Any negatives that you can share?? Did your ride quality suffer along with tire noise?

TIA!!

Brian

yeah.. his wheels look nice too i've seen them.

Your outside diameter is bigger than oem? my 17's with low profiles are smaller than oem... hmm. strange. i guess the tire used makes that much of a difference.

You can see mine at the next prius meet.. whenever that may be..

If they can be trusted, streetdreams.org lists the center bore, bolt circle diameter (pitch circle diameter, PCD), offset and lug sizes of many cars that match pre-2004 Prius rim specs and post-2004 Prius rim specs.
