Have you considered going to a good performance shop and having them build an axleback system for you? There must be several shops in the Bay Area that do that kind of work.

Maybe have something custom made with a turn down style tip like this? It's pretty tucked into the stock location

Ha ha, agreed. I doubt there will be any performance gain... it's just for growl. But I think it still won't have a good engine sound either. It's akin to a scrawny boy bragging about how strong he is (kind of annoying and ridiculous)
