Friends: 0 |  I just bought my first Pruis - a used 2001 Prius with 57k miles in excellent condition. A couple of seconds after I turn the ignition "off," there is a pair of knocking sounds that appear to come from the right rear of the car. It could be the sound of a relay. Is this normal? |

Friends: 14 | Yes these are normal sounds. If you happen to remove the back seat, you will be able to hear the main system relays more clearly. Welcome with your 'new' one. Any other questions about it please speak up. After 103k miles I am very pleased with the 2001 Prius. |
