non touring 07 tire noise LOUD

Our 07 non touring model prius tires make so much n oise you have to keep the windows closed.
Does anyone else notice this or is there a problem. it sounds as if I have large truck tires or a flat and have neither. thump thump thump thump thump noise I thoought it was the road but it happens on every road here.
any suggestions

There is definitely something wrong with your tire / tires. Check them again - even have the tire rep put them on the rack and carefully inspect them.

You may have a large roofing nail embedded in the tire... as the head of the nail hits the road - it smacks it, making a noise that you can hear.

You may also have a bulge in the tire - separating the tread from the casing - that hump would also make the sound you are talking about.

Either way - you have a problem that needs to be carefully evaluated NOW... before you have a catastrophic tire failure while you are driving.
