Pic attached 2005 toyota prius bought this car as is and the ac does not cool down at all looked under the hood I think it is missing somepart /s can some one help me out what is missing in this pic is that the problem with the a/c? Your missing the "snorkel" which is part of your air intake piping for your engine. This part missing would have no effect on your A/C operation. | |

In any case: Pay a Prius technician (most of them are at Toyota dealers; if you were in San Francisco you could go to Luscious Garage, an independent shop of Prius fanatics) to diagnose everything wrong with and missing from your car. If it has those gross problems there's probably a lot more. |

An un-inspected salvaged Prius can be a nightmare and yours already sounds bad. If you can't undo the purchase get it to a dealer right away to see what it needs. Good luck. |
