(Any insight would be appreciated!)

The Digital fit floorliner mats have deep cupping that will hold a bunch of water and protect the carpeting on the sides of the footwell to an extent. If you tend to work outdoors a lot then the Floorliner mats are the way to go. I'm amazed at how much water I drag into the car on rainy days. The material feels a bit thin but it is holding up well. I'm satisfied with them.

If you are looking for a cushy mat then try the all weather mats because the floorliner is more about protection than being cushy. lol

Does this mean that you wind up with a puddle of water under your feet? It seems with deep grooves your feet would be elevated above the water.

How do you empty the water? The digital fit looks like something you wouldn't carefully remove to dump. Not sure if the all-weather would allow that either - especially considering the hooks on the drivers side. I like the drain plugs in my jeep! :-)

I wouldn't call it deep water but there is definately a small puddle that could develop. My feet don't usually sit in it though as the puddle will stay closer to the seat wheras my feet are closer to the firewall. Usually the water evaporates fairly quickly so I've only had to dump the dirt that accumulates. For people who don't wear deeply groves cowboy/ranch boots and work outdoors you should not have the problems with mud, dirt, and water that I do.

Good news, the Digital Fit Extreme Liners are now available for the 2010 Prius in the PC Shop:

PriusChat Shop : WeatherTech Toyota Prius Extreme-Duty Floor Liners [440851] - $0.00

For some reason right now we can only get our hands on them in sets (front and rear), but 99% of people buy them together anyway so it shouldn't effect too many people. We're trying to get them separately for those that want to just order the front or rear, though.

Looking forward to your review, RadioZero!

Well just keep an eye on recent news. With the recent tragedy that most likely involved some connection to floormats, followed by Toyota's massive halt on floormat sales and the instructions to dealers to provide zip ties to hold the mats in place "extra" secure. I think I can speak for Toyota and say they don't want anyone putting one mat ontop of another. Even if it "works" it's a bad idea. I'd not hesitate to purchase and use mats designed for the 2010 or any car you own, however I wouldn't recommend putting one mat ontop of another in any circumstance.

I'm sure I'll get feedback from those saying they have done it for years without incident..but to me, the risk not worth any potential benefit, even if you have to buy two seasonal sets of different kinds of mats and rotate every spring/fall, why not?

That's great but a lot of us reglars try and support this website by shopping at the PC Shop unless the prices are rediculously different.

I ordered a week ago. Was told it would take about a week. It did. What she didn't mention that the week was when they'd ship. I just got the FedEx confo #. Now it will be several more days. Yes, free shipping from WeatherTech. I thought my order was "special" when free shipping was mentioned. I guess not. Oh well.
