Friends: 0 | The old cliche is if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. To be honest I planned to have a clearbra installed, but after viewing these pictures now I'm not so sure. To me the seams are a little too visible, plus the product seems to even be affecting the over all tone and brightness. If you are happy with it I guess that's all that matters. I haven't given up on the idea. Maybe some more pics in regular outside lighting and from a little more distance? I've actually heard such good things about Ventureshield and the latest generation of 3M that I'm a little suprised that I don't particularly like the pictured results. Hate to be the "Negative" guy, but you did post and ask what people thought.

Friends: 0 | FWIW, I actually found it hard to take pictures that would show the film edges. You really ought to see a covered car "in person" in order to determine whether this would work for you or not. On my car (Blizzard) from a couple feet away, the 3M film really can't be seen. It is as shiny as the rest of the car as well. The most noticeable line would be the hood line and you can avoid that by having the whole hood covered if it bothers you. I wouldn't make a decision just by viewing posted pics. I found myself looking for cars in parking lots that had film applied in order to decide whether to do this. Only problem with that is you don't know what film they used. Ultimately, I figure rock rash will be a whole lot more noticeable than the film. |
