Default What mods can be done to the nav unit?

OK, I understand you can override the motion sensor.

But what major mods can be done?
Can you play video through it?
Can you update different map software (somehow)?

Remove it, sell it for 1.5K, and replace it for 1/2 that, then get map upgrades, DVD, and the ability to change address on the fly...

I put a sun shade over mine, made it a lot more user friendly.

You can update to newer maps, once a year, but it is pricey.

here is the link to my navi override install and also user name ggood, found a device that allows video feed to the OEM navi unit. it's in the same link. pricey but, it works.
