Friends: 0 | I have a 2010 III. I don't really feel the need for fog lights but hate the gray inserts. They just scream CHEAP. Would it be possible to just have the inserts painted to match the car and be done with it. It would, at the least, stop the eye from being drawn directly to the gray plastic when looking at the front of the car. |

Friends: 12 | If you plan on doing that, make sure you use a primer that is specifically designed to be used on plastic first. As always, prep is more important then the actual spraying. |

Friends: 9 | Someone on here did it and posted pics a while back. I think they had a black Prius and painted them gloss black. I'll try and find the pics....... Tried for a bit to find em' and couldn't... But it didn't look too bad for a quick and cheap fix. Last edited by Paradox; 11-03-2009 at 03:34 PM. |

Friends: 0 | I too have been thinking about the fog lights for months, and thought about a Faux look. Like a vinyl bumper sticker cut out, silk screened to look like a fog light. Mostly white with some grey to look like a reflection. OR Aluminum Foil/Mylar cut out with some spray adhesive on it. It's worth a try! |
