How do I add XM presets for Gen III w/NAV?

I can't for the life of me figure out how to add some favorites to my XM presets. I am in my 90 days trial, does that matter?

Select station, press and hold one of the six buttons.

that's the problem, there are no buttons...I go to SAT then there are no buttons to choose, I can scroll through the stations, etc but there is not a single button for SAT 1 2 or 3. I followed the instructions in the manual and it takes me to where I should see the 6 buttons but there is nothing

Is the "msg" window showing? On mine, that replaces the buttons. When I turn the msg window off, the buttons emerge.

Also, if you see the screen where it shows the artist and song names, instead of the six buttons, hit the "Text" button in the lower left corner. This will take you back to the default screen. To get to SAT1, SAT2, and SAT3, you just have to hit the SAT button multiple times and it will cycle thru. Hope this helps!

Yep, the TEXT thing was it, I had hit that then didn't hit it again to get back to the preset buttons.
