Who's removed the stock headunit?

Friends: 0 |  Who's removed the stock headunit? Has anyone removed the headunit to give us others tips? I was slowly messing with it earlier and was able to get fairly far in just less than 30 seconds. As attached, I studied the console carefully and started pulling down gently on the panel circled in red. The center console then started to easily open up into two pieces to reveal the headunit. Is it that easy? I didn't have any tools or I would've installed my ipod kit right there in the parking lot. |

Friends: 0 | Re: Who's removed the stock headunit? I answered my own question by just going forward and doing it. You do start with the panel on the pic shown. You can easily remove any other panels you need since they're just clip-ons. For example, you might need to remove the upper glove box to get to the rear right screw better. |
