Friends: 0 | On my 2006 Prius, bluetooth phone calls are only played through the left front speaker. This is annoying, especially for someone in the passenger seat. Is it the same in the Gen III Prius? (I'm looking at Package III) Thanks! Bryan |

Friends: 0 | Yes. We have a 2010 Package III and that's the way it works. You can hear it just fine throughout the car, and the other end can hear everyone well. I believe that the speakers are arranged differently in the 2010... it's no big deal to us. |

Friends: 3 | My Lexus RX 330, Camry Hybrid and Highlander Hybrid were all the same. The bluetooth phone speaker was the left front one, where the turn-by-turn voice guidance comes from. No big deal, they all worked fine. |

Friends: 2 | I just picked up my III w/Nav yesterday and at first I thought it was just coming out of the driver side speaker but when I leaned over towards the passenger side (while parked, of course) I could hear it coming out of the passenger side speaker as well. |

Friends: 5 | Sounds like only the left front on my package IV, but I'll admit I haven't leaned over to check the right side or asked a passenger yet (just got it). |

Friends: 3 | Jumping in to ask a phone question... If I am already on a call on my phone when I get into the car, can the current call connect to the NAv bluetooth or do I have to redial? There aare days when I have a meeting for work that we can call into and I usually start the call while stillin the building using a BT headset when continuing in the car. Was wondering if I could switch teh call to the car without having to dial in because the beep beep interrupting the meeting when dialing back in can be distracting to everyone attending. |

Friends: 0 | Not sure how it works if you have been using a headset, but the other day I was on my cell phone (no headset), got into my car (Prius III without nav) and turned it on : to my surprise, the call was immediately switched to the hands-free system. |

Happens to me often, it cuts out for about 10 seconds. Call isn't dropped, but you lost at least 10 seconds. So I time it. Funniest was receiving a call inside a store, and I had left the car Acc-ON, my wife got to speak to the caller but I couldn't. So I hanged up, called the person back, still couldn't talk, but my wife in the car sure could. I was really far away too, at least 20 feet. | |

Friends: 3 | Cool. I probably won't get on the headset at all then. Is there a mute button? I'm sure my husband, who I commute with, will be thrilled to listen in to our meeting. |
