Question Do you have a 2010 Prius II and a factory installed iPod Connector and the Blu Logic Bluetooth?

Looking to talk to someone who has successfully figured out how to work their iPod connector, Bluetooth and their iPhone 3G. Is it working OK for you?

HI ClassyPrius, Welcome to PriusChat.

My salesman told me the iPod Interface kit from Toyota won't be available until September. I have a iPod Photo (4th Gen) and a iPhone 3GS. I have been able to connect, via Bluetooth, the iPod function and the phone of my 3GS, so I have iPod streaming though the Prius audio system. With AM, FM, iPod audio, Tape connected through the Aux connector, and 4 disc CD changer, I see no benefit in subscribing to XM for 9.95 to 16.95 per month (plus tax and fee of 1.98 per month for music license). I'm debating with myself about the iPod interface. The advantage of getting the iPod interface is that I could download 'books on tape' from iTunes onto the iPod and conserve iPhone battery on long road trips.

This might not help you with your iPhone 3G, but it gives you one person's perspective. Good luck. --TK

There is a ipod interface kit available now there is just a different one coming in Sept. If you have Nav there will be a USB adapter available in Sept. I'm unsure that this is available for none jbl or the none Nav jbl systems.

It is my understanding the current adapter does not work with the iphone just ipods (and possibly not ipod touch as well).

The official iPod/USB interface for the Gen III w/Nav is now available...I had it installed this morning (the first one my dealer had done). See this post for full details:

USB and Safety Connect Are Almost Here!

Please ignore my message. I just got my answer. Thanks, though. *sheepish grin*

I have both the Toyota iPod Integration kit and the Blu Logic kit in my 2002 G1 Prius, and they actually interact with eachother, it is so awesome. When the phone call is over, the iPod kit takes over and resumes music playback. I am so very happy, and my Prius feels very modern and cool all over again! If you have any questions, please let me know!
