Friends: 0 | I don't know - I haven't been in a tunnel long enough to notice it (in fact, I don't think my Prius has seen a tunnel). I do believe the signals are there (speed) on the existing connector that is plugged into my nav. |

Friends: 2 | Is your HU (Rav4 PIP) a 6.2" screen, or 7" screen? |

Friends: 0 | Hey everyone. Thanks for all the helpful information! I've been following these threads for many months trying to plan the best move to install an all-in-one nav doubledin in my 2010 Prius II. I've been looking for the easiest install as well as the best deal. I'd appreciate any comments on my conclusion. 1. According to rrolff, a good/compatable 2DIN is the 2 Din Indash DVD GPS Navi Toyota RAV4 Digital Panel PIP Which is roughly $500 after shipping. 2. As I understand it, you do not need to buy the mounting kit because this DIN will fit exactly into the existing mounting chassis of the prius. 3. It looks like the trim kit is the hardest part, since there seems to only be one available and costing around $130. TOYOTA PRIUS RADIO SURROUND 55405-47080 Thus $630 to get all the parts you need for this basic installation. Does this seem correct? 4. I was looking around for alternate options for a trim and found this: TOYOTA PRIUS 10 2010 DASH TRIM KIT DASHBOARD STYLING Do you think this might be a good alternative as it is only $90 and much more stylish/worth buying? I am contacting the merchant to find out. If all this works out, it might be a good idea to sticky it as a workable solution. Thanks again! Last edited by Protricity; 11-12-2009 at 07:34 AM.
