USB issues

You won't be able to control an iPod with the little Aux. jack but you'll get better sound.
My former car, Scion xA had both iPod connector and the Aux. jack. With the Aux. jack
you can use the iPod's built in equalizer but connecting via the iPod connector it will
bypass the equalizer in iPod. Biggest drawback is you can't control the iPod with the
steering wheel controls and it's very dangerous to try to find songs while driving.
I suggest that if you connect via Aux. jack that you create Playlist's that you live with
and just let it play.

The playlist idea is a good one, whether you use the AUX connection or the USB connection. The USB interface takes a long time to scroll, so the use of several playlists is a must to shortcut the process.

Personally, I think the sound is better when using the USB, but that's just an opinion. If I am going on a long trip, I use playlists on my 5g iPod via USB. If I just want to hear a song or two on my way home, I stream from my 3g iPhone via Bluetooth.

Whatever your preference, it is sure nice to have options.
