Default New low-cost ipod interface...

Looking at the back of my factory head unit - it looks like it would work - no problem. Description says it works on the 2010... Low cost ($50) - fairly easy to install (look to audio forums for how to pull out your existing radio). A crew driver, and an extended 10mm socket is all you would need...

Just FYI - seems like the real deal (?????).

Looks like a good find. I asked the vendor what info the adapter will show on the HU diplay, e.g. title, playlist, etc. Let's see what comes back.

I believe I saw something about that - yes - it would use the same plug - so this would not work for existing XM people. But for your average stock/JBL people, it seems a very low cost option - I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I was running stock stereo...

Just got a response:

"sorry no feedback yet"

So, it looks like we're on our own here with respect to 2010 compatibility and functionality.

I since noticed that it offers no iPod control, just audio input; I'm not interested...
