Friends: 0 |  How to work this USB jack? I just bought my very first Prius last night. Really excited about it. I have the 2010 Prius III with the Nav system; which comes with the USB jack. Of course, I tried it with a Zune and it did not work (as expected). But I have read that songs on a USB drive would work too. But when I plug mine in, the USB tab was disabled on the Nav screen. The MP3s on the drive are within folders, and there are also other non-Music files on the drive. Would that be the problem? Or do I have a broken USB connection? I guess my questions are: (1) Does it matter if the MP3s are stored inside folders? (2) Does it matter if there are other files on the flash/thumb drive? (3) Must the flash/thumb drive be formatted in a certain way? HELP!  |

Friends: 0 | Re: How to work this USB jack? I love just being able to plug a thumb drive into the USB port, hit the USB tab on the NAV screen and hold down RAND for 5 seconds to play any random track on the drive, and it's like a radio. Very nice. |
