Navigation: enable destination entry in moving car

I know there is a thread for a hardware mod that allows touchscreen destination entry while the car is in motion. I want to know if there is a software-enabled customization that allows to override the default setting that disables touchscreen input to add/change destination?

As discussed in those other threads: No. At least none that anyone has found. That's why others have gone to the trouble and expense of adding a hardware mod....
