After 6k (2nd) oil change I think I'll probably order a case of OEM and do 5k filter change with Mobile 1 10k until I find a better filter.

I changed my oil after 7,500 miles with Moibl 1 0X20 oil. I examined the toyota factory oil filter. It looked fine and could easily go another 7,500 miles.

I would not be concerned about using the factory toyota filter
for extended oil changes.

I ran Wix filters on my '01 Mercedes SLK320 that used a cartridge type filter, and they did just fine for my 20k OCI's.
