Friends: 0 | Any observations/recommendations re using one Octane over another? Not just fuel economy, but performance as well. I tend to baby a new car and have thus far been using premium. |

Friends: 3 | Several threads on this already, and the consensus is that the car's designed to run or regular, so use regular. Some owner's have reported lower mileage running premium. Me, I just use Shell regular and get my 5% rebate in free gas with my Shell Visa card. |

Friends: 3 | Quick Note: There is a typo in some owners manuals, it is supposed to read 87 Octane, not 88. |

Friends: 0 | I think the higher octane will give you less bang for your buck. Higher octane may have lower BTU rating. Anyway less explosive means less bang. http://www.state.mn.us/mn/externalDo...ctaneFacts.pdf |
