Default Actual MPG by Terrain Type

I've seen the other poll on what type of actual (calculated) MPG Gen III owners are getting but obviously those of you who live in a flat area are going to get different results than those of us who live in more hilly areas. (As you can see in my sig my average MPG is not that great compared to what others are reporting.) This poll is therefore designed to get a general sense of how much of a factor terrain plays in the type of fuel economy Gen III owners can expect.

Obviously "hilly" means different things to different people but let's just say that if you can climb it without going into the PWR zone then it's not a hill.

I've made it a multiple choice poll so that those of you who have driven in different locales can give an answer for each. It's also public, to encourage honesty and facilitate discussion. Finally, please indicate your average MPG rather than your best tank.

I've made it a multiple choice poll for those of you who have experience in different areas. Ideally you'll give one answer for each type of terrain. (It's also public, to encourage honesty and facilitate discussion.)
Since I drive in mostly hilly, I didn't really know how to response to the "other types" of terrain. You and I seem to be the only responders so far. How hilly are your hills? Short hills don't bother my mpg much, but some of my upgrades are several miles long.

Might want to consider adding categories that combine terrain and traffic (heavy, medium, light). I'd do way better on hills if someone wasn't behind me rushing me up them. I've had people pass me on the shoulder, ride my bumper, etc.

Don't check any of them. (I've updated my original post to make it less confusing.)

That would put the poll at 72 questions (the max is 25) and get way too confusing! Just go with an average.

Yep, I didn't.

You're right on the complexity, of course. The problem will be that there are MANY interrelated factors affecting our mpg, not just the one additional factor I suggested.

And one guy able to drive downhill bothways (!) will frustrate the heck out of us...

Anyone living in an Escher world may not participate in this poll.

On my 40th birthday someone told me it's all downhill from here.
Does that disqualify me?

Oops, sorry, I just noticed this thread is in the Gen III forum.
I guess I really am getting too old.
