Friends: 0 | This looks like an evolution and Toyota has made some nice changes. My primary interest is in fuel economy and they have made small improvements which is great. I can't wait to sit in one and check it out. However I don't see anything that would make me trade my 2008 for the 2010. I'll wait for the plug-in. Everything Toyota did to the car looks great including the nifty Touch Tracer. However there are a couple of things that I'll have to see. One is it looks like the main display has moved towards the center of the dashboard and I would prefer it to be where it is now, more directly in front of the driver. Perhaps I saw that wrong and it is in front of the driver. I don't understand this drive to move things to the center and out of the line of sight. A HUD would solve this though and I see some hints that may be available in some form. The other is putting a traditional shift lever on the center console. Unless it does something other than shift it seems a waste of space and looks like it might be in the way of the radio. Looking forward to showroom availability. |

Friends: 0 | Height adjustable seat (driver's) has been confirmed. Can't remember where I saw it this morning but I'm sure it was confirmed. |

Friends: 6 | As for details of the inside like seat adjustment, I'm hoping we'll get that tonight. Really, the essence of the video was the audio and, therefore, the text that Evan posted. Nothing of the inside of the car other than what Bob Carter covered, and not too much of the outside that we haven't already seen in sneak peeks or leaked photos. |

Friends: 1 | I like that they moved the display up. I do not like the classic low tech shift lever. Otherwise cool. It is not a revolution, but it is an evolution, which is good. Will not sell/trace mine 2008 model for new yet. Maybe in 3 to 4 years. It is always good to let others debug all the bugs first. |

Friends: 7 | speaking as an owner of a 2001 Prius, and formerly also a Pioneer-ordered 2004 Prius (which was sold to family, so I still see it), Toyota has been very good at fixing things when they're found. not that there's been any major issues so far... (the 2001 steering rack recall was limited to those sold before mine! and the fail-safes worked for those affected.) I wouldn't put the newness of the 2010 Prius anywhere in my list of reasons for not getting one. (I just don't even need my 2001 Prius (sold the 2004 Prius as I didn't need it (non-use)), so no point in upgrading...) Biggest problem is getting a dealer to recognize that what you have is a common new model year problem and that you shouldn't be charged for it... (My 2004 recently had the MFD issue - one dealer wanted to charge for it, I took it to another and the MFD was replaced without question for free under extended warranty)

Friends: 0 | If the trade-in price is decent on my 2006, I will most definitely "upgrade" to the 2010 model! |
