I am waiting for plug in to trade my 2007.
I also have a 2007 Highlander hybird which I also really like very much, I use it to tow my Popup trailer and still get 22 mpg while towing, 28 when not.
Holy Cow! Will this qualify you for the 3 Gen Club? (See HTML Spinner's photos of his Prius collection) Your daughter is a lucky girl!!

I hope everyone gets theirs' soon! My car feels kind of lonely driving around here in Eastern MA for the last week with no other G3 Prii around.

Not sure if I should post this here or elsewhere but I have a question regarding Boston area dealers. Were those of you in Eastern MA able to get MSRP? My original order was for a Prius II and I was quoted $23,099. That's higher than msrp, right? I thought the package II was $22,000, but anyone around here willing to give me a quote seems to be in that same range.
My dealer called and offered me a 2010 Prius package II (I believe) but with the JBL sound system and Bluetooth upgrade and quoted that at $24,099. I asked him if it's a package II or III and he hasn't gotten back to me, so I'm assuming until I hear otherwise that it's a package II with an upgrade. If that's true then I'm feeling that it's too high, as I just don't want to pay above MSRP, so if anyone has a suggestion of another dealer in Eastern MA, I would appreciate the tip. Thanks!

I find most of the dealers here are sticking to MSRP. They are tacking on for port-added accessories (mats, bumper appliques, etc.) and those things push the number higher than you may expect. I'm dealing with Acton and so far every number I've seen is MSRP + port installed costs. You can specify what you want from the port when you order - but order means stand in line with the rest of us.

Looks like there are a lot of cars headed to the east coast so availability should be improving. Good Luck!! (and )

Hi ctop,
I paid $680 under MSRP for my IV w/SR. I got a few port accesories that I wanted like the Illuminated Door sills, VIP Alarm, cargo net and floor mats so I think they had more room to move on the price. Also, I should tell you this is the 4th car I bought at Expressway in Dorchester so they know me. They had a Blue base II arrive the same time mine did last week but I do not know if they sold it yet. I think the price was $23K or so for the II.
I dealt with Ross who is very good and does not pressure.
