Hmm... i thought there wasn't ambient lighting on moonroof-equipped models. Where is it located? I couldn't find it in the pics. It's more obvious on the non-moonroof models.

I was surprised too! the tiny LED is recessed in the black circle area above where the map light switch is. Center the switch and feel for the recess hole slightly away and near center of the plate. It casts a fine glow upon the blue shifter.

Sweeet.. so we don't lose the ambient lighting. Care to take a photo? I have a comparison pic in one of the threads (Asking about the sunglass holder) and I don't have a picture of the overhead console with the moonroof in the same angle as I do for the other two... the one you replied to

You won't be able to see it in most photos as it is a black hole in a black surface. I'll get a photo up next time my Gadgetdaughter can help with the picture and posting!

oh lol (that's probably why I missed it in the photos) ... then I guess turn on the headlights so that the LED is on. We'll be able to see it then.

I'll go snap one - will have to put the camera on a tripod to get the right effect.

Interior illumination package (Prius IV+) - unfortunately sodium lighting makes Misty Gray look more like bisque.
