Friends: 32 | I've just noticed that the moonroof is quite flat. I wonder how much force that wind deflector has to withstand. It's standing nearly 45°! How does the wind noise compare to a standard Toyota moonroof with those plastic wind deflectors? For our Camry, at 60km/h, it becomes quite noisy (a good use of the moonroof as a speed indicator lol) |

But then that begs the question. Why is a larger deflector needs over the smaller plastic ones in the regular moonroofs to achieve the same level of quietness (or wind buffeting). Keep in mind that the moonroof has two opening positions with the first one meant to reduce wind buffeting. | |

Quick answer: You can't close the armrest fully AND have a cord come out. Qualification: I looked at this question closely, but I didn't try the hookup. You can close the armrest ALMOST all the way, and it appears to stay in place. Still, it seems to be a design flaw. Why have the AUX in a place that is so inaccessible, then? I'll look tomorrow to see if there is a way to have the armrest fully closed and yet have a line come out so the iPod/iPhone can be in use and view while connected.
