Friends: 3 |  Two brand new dark gray Prius at Toyota Irvine right now... I just got back from Toyota Irvine (Saturday, May30, 8:30pm). They have a Prius II and a Prius III, both dark gray. No sunroof. Sticker price is ~$23,500 on both, but both have a $4000 "market demand adjustment" to bring them to ~$27,500 each. If you want one of these, call Toyota Irvine right now. The salesman said they are still for sale to "whoever gets it first." I would have bought one, but I'm not going to pay $4000 above sticker. A stupid buyer will probably knock off $2000 and think he got a great deal. I think this dealer and other dealers that slap the "market value" fees do this to keep a few cars on the lot so people can see them and test drive.
