Hybrid components warranty-California Emissions state

I am considering buying a 2010 Prius and have some questions that I hope some can answer:
1) I live in NJ, a California emissions state. Does the upgraded battery and hybrid components warranty apply to vehicles purchased there or registered there?
2) I want to get a Prius III with a sunroof. I notice that the regions can get them but my region cannot. Can a NJ dealer get a swap from another region?
3) Are there any California states in regions that have the PriusIII/sunroof available?

The bottom line is that I want to get a PriusIII with sunroof. I don't mind traveling to get it, but do not want to lose the upgraded hybrid battery warranty that I would get in NJ.

For the most part, the vehicle will be cover by the warranty that applies to the state the vehicle is registered in.

To get a Prius III with the Solar Roof package, go to your local Toyota dealer and talk to the Customer Relations Manager to see if they are willing to order a Prius III with the Solar Roof Package for you through the region. This may add to the total time that it take to get this vehicle.

A Prius III with Solar Roof Package is avaliable for all regions to order, if they feel enough of a demand exists.

CARB states are CA, CT, ME, MA, NH, NJ, NY, RI, VT.

NJ, NY & CT are in the same region.

I suspect the warranty is based on where the car is sold.

As for the which state the warranty will fall under, My bet is at where the state where VIN number first gets registered.
If JimN is correct, that means people from WA, NV, AZ, and OR would be flocking to California to get their 2010 Prii since we have the extended CARB Emissions Warranty for the Battery and the Hybrid Components.
