Friends: 1 | Only ones the dealers seem to get is Red. They all tell me I'm at the top of the list for Blue Ribbon and Winter Grey but they never seem to get them. I guess they aren't shipping many V w/AT package and it seems when they do they are red or white. Must remain patient. But renting a car to drive to work is getting old, fast. |

Friends: 0 | I'm in the same boat here in South Florida. Ordered a V with Nav in winter grey back in May. Only one they received was a red V without Nav. (I'm would even consider other colors at this point, just not fond of the red or white). Found one in Vero Beach exactly like I wanted, but dealer wouldn't budge on $600 dealer fee and $750 or so Toyo Guard protection. So, I am still waiting it out. The whole allotment process and even the search to check availability is horrendous. At least I am not stuck renting, though. Good luck to us both. |

Friends: 0 | $600 dealer fee is typical for Toyota dealers in Florida ($400-900 avg). The Toyo Guard is port-added, so dealer can't remove. But if that was all holding me from the ideal V, I'd have grabbed it. You are already paying such a large premium for the V w/ Tech that another $750 isn't that big a deal. |

Friends: 0 | True...still thinking about it, although it may be gone by then. The salesman was great, but it was the attitude of the sales manager that rubbed us the wrong way. I understand the Toyo guard is port added. Although, they can't "remove" it, some dealers would be willing to budge on the fee to make the sale. As for the dealer fee, you are correct, that is what most dealers in FL charge. However, the dealer that we have our deposit down at waived it and was charging straight MSRP. When talking to the sales manager at the dealer in Vero Beach, we told him we were more than willing to pay either the dealer fee or the Toyo Guard, and we would drive up that day. However, he was unwilling to budge on either fee. So, we will see. We do want the car, but we are not in a super time crunch, as our current lease does not expire until December. (Just way over our miles and paying $$$ in gas at an average 16 MPG, sooo Prius would be nice to have now). Thanks for the reply! |

Friends: 1 | Just talked with one dealer today. He tells me the V's with AT are being allocated in a different way or something like that, and once again they are getting red and silver, neither of which I want. They were trying hard to get me to buy the last red they got, so why do they get sent another? Bah, for the amount of money it is going to cost I'm not going to compromise on color choice. Maybe I should consider a IV w/Solar Roof though. |

Friends: 1 | I live in San Francisco. I'm willing to travel pretty far. I just moved here from NYC and I didn't have a car while I lived there, but now I need one to commute, so I'm renting until I can get a Prius. That expense is adding up. |

Friends: 0 | I'm in the same boat here in Denver. My dealer has a red V w/ATP that has been sitting on the lot for two weeks. I ordered mine in white back in May but my dealer still doesn't even have the VIN number yet and isn't expecting it to be in until August-September. |

Friends: 0 | If you do a search on Edmunds.com, and specify the radius you want the site to search, it will return all Toyota dealers in that radius, and list their Prius inventory. Sometimes the list is out-of-date, but it's usually fairly current. You should double check the Edmunds list by going directly to the dealer's website to confirm the inventory is accurate. If you live in the Bay Area, I would be very surprised if there weren't several Prius Vs with the AT package within a 50 mile radius. Or stretch it out to include Sacramento and the valley, and you'll find even more. |
