2010 rear bumper bottom plastic problem?

Friends: 0 |  2010 rear bumper bottom plastic problem? When I first looked at the 2010, I noticed the black plastic that goes around the bottom of the rear bumper was hanging down an inch on the right side. I asked about it and was told it is a piece that is not on the car during shipping and is installed at the dealership. I found the exact same issue while inspecting my 2010 when I took delivery. They said all 2010s they have received (5 or so, I think) have had this problem. The tech pushed it back up and it snapped in as it is held on by clips. I'm afraid this is a weak spot and it won't be long before it drops an inch or so again as a clip or two releases. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what have you done, if anything? I was going to post a picture but it is currently up where it should be so there is really nothing to show. |
