Friends: 0 | It'a not that bad.... it all blends into my overall stats...and to date my best is 4.6 litres/100kms. (I did the 164 on that tank)...and I've never been over 5.0 litres/100 kms.... |

Friends: 3 | 4.6 l/100km = 51.13MPG!!! I wonder what the average speed for that tank was... You may have got over 100 MPH at one time during that tank but I doubt you would get that king of MPG keeping it consistently above 80 MPH. Correct me if I'm wrong... |

Friends: 0 | Mine's too new...I think I've only pushed it to 60 or 65...waiting till I get past 1000 miles or so to push it too hard. I did hit power mode once going up a hill and was completely surprised by the available power...after driving in Eco for the first few days I kinda got used to being a slow poke...haha...gimme a few months and I'll be flying around in this thing...haha |

Friends: 1 | Just for comparison I had my Gen2 to 106 MPH but I think 2 or 3 of that was speedometer error so probably about 103 or 104 which is listed as its electronically limited top speed. It felt fine at that speed, didn't get light in the front end or anything. The Gen3 has an electronically limited top speed of 112 MPH? I did see that number somewhere but can't find the reference now. Anyway if that is the actual limited top speed it should have no problem reaching it with 24 more horsepower and a lower CD than the previous generation.

Friends: 0 | Half my journey is in the country...light traffic...and a "pay for use" highway...THAT's where I get to go fast....the OTHER half of the journey is fighting stop and go traffic for about 40 kms. to the heart of the city.... THAT's where my Gen III shines....add a few loooong downhill stretches (to recharge the battery) and my fuel economy skyrockets!! It's like it was built specifically for this "mission"...... BTW I have over 3,800 kms on it...(wouldn't abuse by baby before she was ready!!) |
