My gen III has a 4km error at any speed. I.e at 44kms/hr I am driving at 40kms/hr at 104kms/hr I am travelling at 100kms/hr and so on. I have checked this against GPS but another way to check is to reset the A or B odometers and check the average speed while maintaining your present speed. Only takes a km or so. The average speed is always spot on in my prius.
