The dealer pretty much said the car is a piece of crap and will kill you in maintenance and warranty issues over the next five years. In a way it was brilliant. A few hotdogs, some chips and some pop, and The Dealership stressing how important it was to do all your maintenance at the dealership. For what was a maybe $2.00 worth of food, a few pep talks about warranty and maintenance and a lot of people were hooked like life long friends, into bringing their Saturn into the dealership for maintenance forever. I think the whole "event" couldn't of cost them more than $40.00 plus whatever labor time lost for the technician to give a little speech about the importance of timely oil changes and I think they demonstrated how to change a tire. Meanwhile most of the people attending left feeling like they had just joined a very special fraternity.
