Find Car at Sea With VIN????

I'm excited. Been waiting for 5 months to get a 2010 and finally, my dealer has the allocation for exactly what I want (Silver IV with Sunroof).

I have the VIN. But being impatient, I'm wondering if there is a way to find out the ship and location. All I have is the VIN and the port of entry - Jacksonville, FL.

Any help is appreciated.

The dealer allocation sheet should have the ship that your car is on also. So they should be able to tell you that. After you have that info, there are 2 or 3 sites (one is marinetraffic.com) where you should be able to track that ship. There are excellent threads on the priuschat site that will explain more about this. You should be able to find out when your ship is going through the Panama Canal.
