Average age of Prius Owner

The problem with an open question list this are the interesting data is too sparse to draw any insight. Who has time to read 70 posting and try to do any analysis.

As a suggestion, start a poll with age ranges:

16-20
21-25
26-30
31-35
36-40
41-45
46-50
51-55
56-60
61-65
66-70
71-75
76-80
81-85
+86

Run the poll for 30 days and we'll have some data to analyze by comparison to the census.Then we can find out if there is some remarkable pattern in the data.

Let me suggest waiting to December or January before starting the poll ... starting 2010 with a snapshot of the Prius owners. Then for good measure, use 'birth year', an attribute that does not change each year. For privacy reasons, do not record the usernames in each birthyear group. Once a year or perhaps every 5 years, the bucket size of the birth years, always the same month, repoll the membership.

They did say "Owner" not "purchaser". Although I think the 17 yo did pay for his... can't remember.
