Friends: 0 | I couldn't find any indication of traveled time on the display. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am a little disappointed because the "trip computer" on my 9-year old Passat shows the time between you start the car and the time you stop the engine, as well as all the mpg and distance information. This is not a high tech thing. Of course we can always calculate the trip time by (1) substracting the start time from the stop time; or (2) dividing the traveled miles by MPH. But then, what the display is for? I hope the Toyota team will take a note and just add one number on the display. Thanks. |

Friends: 26 | There are plenty of trip computers in different vehicles in the past decade or two. The typical one is a "5-function" trip computer which usually includes: Instant FE, Avg FE, Avg. Speed, E/T (Elapsed Time) and DTE (Dist. To Empty). There are others that are more comprehensive. |

Friends: 26 | Well it only tracks actual car-on time so I guess it's good if you want to know the driving time minus stops and breaks. |

Friends: 3 | Yep, although I only have a 2nd gen Prius, I too miss the count up time display/elapsed engine on time on my former 02 Maxima and on my 04 350Z. I posted some other nice features, non-high end I've seen on other cars that I wish my 2nd gen had at (lower end) features on other cars that you wish 2nd gen Prius had?. |
