Friends: 0 | Cassette player. My tapes from the 90's still play just fine thank you very much, and I'm not about to have them all burned to CD's. These are tapes I recorded myself, with each one built around some sort of theme. By the 90's good quality cassette's (e.g. Maxell, BASF) could withstand nearly 200 degrees F without degradation of the audio or damage to the mechanism and could also withstand hundreds of playings. An old Sony Walkman with the headphone cord plugged into the audio jack combined with a AA battery charger using the accessory jack solved the problem and both fit nicely in the storage area next the driver's seat but it seems a hokey thing to have to do to listen to my tapes. |

Friends: 0 | I wish it had a connector plug in the cargo compartment where you could plug in "portable" batteries that would feed the OEM HV battery. This way, one could belt them down for constant use and charge them with a cord that has all the electronics outside the car...like a laptop computer has it's charger outside. This scenario would also allow the batteries to be removed and left in the garage if one knew they were going on a long trip and would not be able to plug them in. It would also allow for one to have 2 or 3 extra battery packs that could be swapped out for charging, or hooked up in parallel.

Friends: 0 | No wiper unit on the back window, can't see anything out of it anyway. A speed sentry, so quiet I cannot pick when I am at the speed limit around town. (yes I know that would be another beep) Currently I rely upon my TomTom GPS as the Toyota SatNav is so bad. I would rather have the remote AC button open the moonroof, or better still make the car SMS enabled so I can ring from my desk and open the moonroof and start the remote AC The Aux connector and 12V jack in the top glovebox rather than in the armrest. Cruise control box on the MID not block out most of the tripmeter info. A smartkey for my house as I find I get out of the car and walk to the door without getting my keys out to unlock the house. Aside from those few niggles the car is FANTASTIC. David |

Friends: 4 | I wish there was a 'Prius-like' car that could tow about 1,000 lbs. I know that's sacriledge to a great many Prius-ites (because it would require a bigger gas engine), but I did say 'Prius-like' Last edited by cycledrum; 11-22-2009 at 11:08 PM. |
