Friends: 23 | Unfortunately, Priuschat suffered server poblems and lost some threads. We had discussed some logistics for a group picture to submit for the 2006 Priuschat calendar. It would be great if we could submit a few really good pictures of the group. At last count, there are 53 people registered for the Chicago Group. If even half make it for the picture, other groups will be drooling to see our photos. At last discussion, we decided to do the photos at Soldier Field on October 15th. Evan (efusco) pointed out that the best time to take pictures is the first and last hours of the day. So I'm suggesting that we meet at 4:00pm in the Soldier Field parking lot just north of East 18th Drive. This is south of the statium itself. We can meet at 4:00, take some pictures, arrange and rearrange the cars in interesting layouts, and then head off for some group-dinner.

Friends: 0 | I expect I will be there. I hope my Prius will be clean enough. Here let me repeat my offer that was trimmed in the PriusChat data flood (maybe that's too strong a word, considering) of October 2005. If you can't show up for the photo and have a legible photo of your Prius, please send it to someone who will attend. We will make every attempt to include your virtual participation. Has anyone found out for sure if U.S. Cellular Field (you know, Sox Park) will be open for viewing Game 4 that night? Sometimes this was done when the Bulls were away for playoff games.

Friends: 0 | We haven't exactly talked much about this post board-crash, but this is a done deal, right? Saturday at 4? Should be decent weather... I will be there. Hopefully many others will be too. Tony, how good is your digicam? 2400x3000 good? I know mine isn't, although I have one around that isn't quite right that might work... Anyone else have one to volunteer? |

Friends: 23 | Try this link: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Joliet,+IL+t...icago,+IL&hl=en If that doesn't work, go to http://maps.google.com and copy this into the search field: Joliet, IL to 1410 S. Museum Campus Dr, Chicago, IL Remember that we are meeting in the parking lot that is south of the field. It looks like this map puts the flag on the east side but that's not where we're meeting. Hope to see you there. |

Friends: 23 | I've decided to dedicate the rest of my life to the development of a functioning time machine. This will allow me to blow by all deadlines with absolute impunity. I can just wait until the result finally comes around and then head back in time and give it to myself prior to the original deadline. And I know I'll be successful, Dave, because that's a darned nice picture you have in the 2007 calendar. Nice going! |

Friends: 23 | Oh man, Google Maps says that it's 47.8 miles from my house to Soldier Field. That's a gallon of gas either way. How wasteful! [Said with absolutely sarcasm remembering driving a car that got 22 MPG.] |
