Chicago Prius Group Meetup

I was just adding a Grossinger meeting in May to the website and figured that we should have something in March.

After attending meetings of the Milwaukee Hybrid Group, I really think we should aim for something like a library conference room where we can have tables and chairs. For easy access, maybe a place close to an interstate. Parking would be great.

If we have it someplace and it turns out to be really conducive, we should make it a regular location.

Any suggestions?

Alright, here's the final decision:

We're going to have a standard informal meeting.

Where: The Streets of Woodfield
When: Sunday, March 25th @10:00am

Here's the agenda so far:
We'll start by parking in the back of the parking lot (West side).
Then we'll head over to Chipotle for lunch.
Probably, we'll head back out to the parking lot for pictures and talking.
Then we can call it a day.

I'm guessing we'll break it up around 1:30 - 2:00.

May I suggest a start time of 11:30 so us Prius owners who live south of O'Hare don't have to get up at the crack of dawn.

I think you meant the east side of the parking lot, the part close to the frontage road/expressway. The west side would be right next to the shops which is the crowded part and difficult to find parking. The other option is to park in the free parking garage adjacent to the south end across from Gameworks. The garage is usually empty on the upper levels, so if we met at say the third level we could park everyone next to each other, be sheltered from any bad weather and if desired drive up to the top level for pictures (better light).

Just my thoughts .

The garage can be a fall-back location in the event of inclement weather. Being in the main parking lot is not only easier in terms of walking to the shops but it's also much more obvious to passers by.

And you're right, I meant the East side of the lot.
11:30 start time it is.
