Friends: 0 |  Illinois Clean Car Act! The Illinois House of Representatives is right now considering a very critical bill called the Illinois Clean Car Act, which will raise fuel efficiency standards, reaching 40 mpg in 2020. These standards will go above CAFE and match those of California and 14 other states that have passed similar legislation. This bill MUST be passed, so contact your local State Representative right away to make sure they will vote for it. To find out your Rep., go to the Illinois State Board of Elections website, click on the Voting and Elections tab, then Find District.
