Friends: 12 | The next event for the ChicagoPriusGroup is one of our largest public outreaches of the year, the Illinois Renewable Energy Fair in Oregon, IL. This will happen Saturday August 8th and Sunday August 9th. Information can be found at http://www.illinoisrenew.org/events/2009_fair.html. We are looking for Hybrid owners to come out for the day, or a good part of the day, and exhibit your Hybrid. If you exhibit your Hybrid, you get into the Fair for free. You don't have to have your Hybrid open or allow people inside unless you'd like to. All we ask in return is that you give an hour or two of your time to talk to people about your Hybrid, or Hybrids in general. Don't worry if you run into some technical questions, just refer them to some other member in the group who can answer the question. This is a great opportunity for our group to talk to literally hundreds of people. And we know that because of our exhibiting, over a dozen people have purchased Hybrids and helped our world. Please let us know as soon as you can if you'd like to exhibit so we can contact the Fair people. If you would like to exhibit your Hybrid, please contact us at chicagopriusgroup@sbcglobal.net, otherwise see you there. Wayne

Friends: 0 | Wow. I wish I could be there. I am close enough that I could make it. However, it is my mom's birthday that weekend. So the phrase: "Shot while trying to escape" come to mind :P Maybe at the next event or next year. |
