Meet up and Clean up??

Now that the weather's gotten nicer my husband and I have been going for walks in the forest preserves near us. And we've noticed there's an awful lot of trash floating about. Occasionally, we grab some garbage bags and work gloves and head into the woods.

Would anyone be interested in having a Prius meet up at a forest preserve and picking up trash for a bit? It could be part of a normal Prius meet up or a separate event.

What do you think?

Considering that we were talking (if only lightly) about having a meetup in a forest preserve anyway, I think it's a great idea. Shoot, I'll even put nails on sticks for those who don't want to bend over. :-)

I love nature (and I'm sure I love trash - thanks Oscar), but it doesn't love me back. I learned this during my scouting cleanups long ago.

But if you need a reliable person to watch the cars or other support, please keep me in mind.

I can't overemphasize the importance of work gloves in today's world of trash.
