Default setting for Multi-Information Display

Probably an answer to my question is already contained in the wealth of information on this site, but I have been unable to locate it.

After driving a couple of thousand miles, I became unable to control the climate from the screen. The diagnosis was that the underlying grid was not properly aligned, and the device was replaced. Now, when the car is turned off, it automatically defaults to the Energy Monitor screen. If I leave it on Consumption, I would like to find that screen on startup. Is there not something I can do to make this new device perform like the original (with the exception of the grid problem, of course)?
