My Car: 2001 Prius Package: Pioneer #1 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 7 | Mr. K, for the inverter loop there is a bolt under the transaxle. It is possible to mistake it for the transaxle fluid drain bolt, so don't do that. Reservoir cap off for draining, also. Engine coolant is drained by a radiator valve, and another on the engine that you'll never find unless somebody tells you where it is. |

My Car: 2007 Prius Package: #2 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | My Prius Chilton's repeatedly refers to the Inverter coolant as the Transaxle coolant. Not sure which its cooling more as it does both and then is routed into the bottom of the radiator like most automatic transmissions.That should make you even more confused. |
