Need help puting jack back on the holder.

I got my jack out for oil change and I can not put it back on the holder where it stays flush so I can close the trunk cover floor. Can any one help? I have the 2009 Prius.

Well, personally I find unscrewing the jack until its as small and flat as its gonna get usually helps.

Sullivan's First Law, It went together, its gotta come apart, and of course its variant, if its apart its gotta go back together, exactly as it came apart.

In my car, the jack sits upside down, on the tire and jack rod hole is on the left! Make sure the rubber bands are above the jack to hold it down!!!
