Thank you. As a native fluent French speaker (not Canadian, eh, French) this will be helpful.

Do you know if the words will work in different languages by default, or do you need to switch he GPS via it's menu to go to another language before it works in that language.

(In other words, when I get in my car to drive home tonight, as it is in English, will the French commands work, or will I need to set it for that first?)

hmm.. lemme practice my French =P.

Pour utiliser les commandes, on devrais utilise le systèm entière en français. Appuyer «SETUP» puis «GENERAL» et changez la langue à français. Appuyer «OK» et maintenant appuyer le bouton voix.
