Next Event-Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006- Dave Hermance,Vice President for Environmental Affairs with Toyota. Dave will be able to talk about the new Toyota Hybrid Camry and what is in the Future for the Prius and other Hybrids Toyota will come out with! If you have heard him at the San Diego Club, you know he is very entertaining and very knowledgeable speaker.

Time: 11:30 New Owners Help, Noon in Parking Lot, 1pm Lunch (pay your own).

This is a MUST see presentation- This is the first time Dave Hermance has presented to Orange County- He will talk about the Hybrid Camry, Toyota and Lexus Hybrids (last time I saw him a few months ago he was driving a Highlander Hybrid)....

There are an estimated 26 people scheduled to be there as of today- should be a good group- from 2001 to several 2006's (including Barcelona Red).

New Owners are scheduled for a walk through by the older Prius owners at 11:30- just some of the things you may not yet know about- 3rd drawer, vent on back seat, etc.

Also we usually have a Plug in Prius appear from Energy CS - one of our members....

I know you want one from Toyota...grin.

My hubby and I are looking forward to seeing everyone again. And, Darwin of course you are welcome (especially if you bring the baby in your Avatar - I'm a sucker for kids).

Just because you are in L.A. does not restrict you to what clubs you can join. I live in Claremont (L.A. County) and attend meetings in Orange Co., San Diego and will be attending the next get together in L.A.. We are, after all, one big happy Prius family. Just be prepared to have your car examined by an excited group with a fine tooth comb :-).

Hope to see you there! If you make it, look for me. I have the car with "Save A Soldier - Buy A Hybrid" on my lower back window.

Thank you. I'll try to make it, but it looks like something is already up for me this Saturday. I'm looking forward to meeting all other members of the "prius family" one of these days. The baby in my avatar is actually my nephew andrew! He's 5 months old now---1st baby in our family. My brother (andrew's dad) lives in anaheim, so i might be able to bring them along since my bro is getting more and more interested with the hybrid technology ever since I got my prius.
