There are a lot of owners in NoVa/DC/MD area, but to my knowledge they haven't organized a group. We had a few of them come down for our last meeting in Richmond in September. EDIT: See the Local group in this area: PriusChat Forums > Local Clubs > Local Prius Club Main Forum > VA - Northern VA & DC Metro EDIT #2: I didn't mean to copy the links, but I'm glad that it happened.

As a matter of fact, there were actually TWO plug-in conversions at the February meeting last week. For more info. check out Welcome to the Electric Vehicle Association of Greater Washington, DC. , the website isn't updated very often, but the meetings are always full of good info. |

One on the Capitol Mall which will feature one of our member's plug-in prius conversion, and I believe that we will be in Baltimore's inner harbor at the science center with our solar-assisted commuter-class EV that was built by the good folks at MIT back in the 90's. We also have the annual Power of DC event at Hagerstown, MD; it's basically a test-n-tune event at the local drag-strip that features many member's EVs. Aside from that, there are tons of small, local events that we show up at, especially this time of year. If you would like any further info. just PM me and I can give you whatever updates you'd like. |
