I am really have trouble getting more than 40MPG!!! I don't know if it is the really insane way you have to drive in the Washington, DC area or not. If I don't drive fast, they will run over my little Prius! Help! I bought this so I could get 60 MPG. Do I have to move to a rural 25 MPH zone to get this?

This really isn't the appropriate thread for this question. Take a look under the Fuel Economy forum and you'll find about 100 questions exactly like yours.

Also, take a look at my article in the Knowledge Base section FAQs titled "Why Don't I get the EPA numbers".

FWIW, they won't run over your 'little' Prius if you drive at or just above the speed limit, but you can do a lot of things to improve your mileage by just increasing your following and braking distances. Read the article then repost your question in the fuel economy section if you can't find anything else that already answers your questions.
